X99 STRIX MOJAVE SMALL ISSUE

H i followed a guide on Tonymac to get my system up and running, the guide was for an Asus x99-A but the most part it worked for my Asus X99 strix the article was iMac Pro X99 Live the Future Mojave

I am having trouble getting my Graphics card to work on any port other than HDMI, does anyone have anything I can try? from what I read the RX480 should be compatible, I did read somewhere else on this thread(i think, I've read soo many) that the RX aren't recommended with this board as it doesn't have integrated iGPU but I don't have much choice at the minute, I will wait for a Vega to come up second hand but that would be last resort.I currently haveAsus Strix x996800K4 x 4GB 3200 DDR4Samsung evo 970 500GBRadeon RX480

Please keep in mind this is my first hackinotsh so i may need a little more info with suggestions, someone suggested i look at the DSDT but i havent wrapped my head around it yet.
