I've been saving up some money to get a hackintosh since the specs I want on an actual Apple machine would cost me much more...

Here you can find my hardware list on Amazon http://amzn.eu/6vaPBg5 ,locked at 1645€ ( 1861$ ) , I am also trying to fit everything into a mini-ITX case so that I can carry it with me in case of traveling.

My current MacBook Pro has the following specs:

It's still very good for business work, photo editing and light 1080p fcpx but nothing fancy.

What I am looking for is a big step forward from my actual machine and I want your opinion and thoughts about it, I want it to be a good all-around setup. 2K video editing (rendering and that stuff) but also for some casual 1080p gaming (not looking for ultra-graphics).

I'm paying someone else to install the system. This guy wants 150€ (he has a legit company I did some in-depth research) and he is going to use Vanilla instead of Multibeast, he says "it is much better, safer and non-invasive like MB."

(I don't really which one is better but the guy has always been using Vanilla and he never had any problems.)

Also he told me the only thing that won't work is Apple Handoff (which I do not need)
