I got my Hackintosh running using clover configurator today.
Except for a few minor hiccups in the beginning, everything went smoothly and I could boot and use macOS 12.13.6.
I was able too install the latest security update 2018-002 through the app store too.
Since everything seemed to be settled, I wanted to install the Nvidia web drivers. I was following this guide https://hackintosher.com/guides/properly-install-nvidia-drivers-high-sierra-10-13/ and at #5, I wasn't able to install the web drivers as the installer said that my macOS version is not compatible. Although I took the latest web drivers (17G65) for 10.13.6 from here https://hackintosher.com/nvidia-drivers/.
I thought maybe I need to restart... and prolly that was a mistake. Since then, I can't boot into macOS anymore. When I select boot macOS from Macintosh HD from the clover bootloader, I can see the Apple logo for a few seconds and then it turns into a prohibited sign. I can do nothing but restart. I can't access recovery mode either.
At first I thought maybe it's just the current state of the clover bootloader on my hard disk. But when I plug in my flash drive with the initial clover bootloader from this afternoon when I installed Hackintosh, it wouldn't let me boot into macOS either.
Now I'm completely clueless since I'm new to Hackintosh. Any ideas how to solve this? Did I screw up?
I still have my MacBook with Mojave, so if I need to copy any new files to the clover flash drive or edit them, that won't be a problem.
MSI Z370m Mortar
i7 8700k
16 GB DDR4 Ram
1080 TI
macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
I guess that's it, but if I missed any important specs, just tell me.
Thanks for any help!
