If anyone else out there uses an HP EliteBook 8460p, which guide did you use?

I just got one of these 8460p laptops in a trade. It has a core i5 and 16gb of ram and an SSD and i think it would be a great hackintosh. However, rehabmans guides HERE and HERE can be a little hard to follow sometimes.

The only mac I have access to for now is a Mac Pro 2,1 with El Cap on it, so I plan on making an El Cap bootable installer because my app store won't download anything else.

I am looking for any information, guides, short cuts, etc.

I have even broken down and used the *beast tools out of desperation. Any help or links are welcome.
