Specs: i7-7700HQ GTX 1080 16GB DDR4 256GB Nvme drive - High Sierra
I was able to get Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave, and High Sierra installed and they experience the same issue. I removed Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave, and installed High Sierra. Whenever a password prompt appears the loading wheel will appear and the password prompt will be unresponsive for a moment or two then it disappears and able to use it.
I believe this is relating to aggressive down-clock of the CPU as I notice that when it downclocks to 1.3GHZ, is when I experience the loading wheel.
Anyone else have this issue?
