Hey guys,
I'm working on my first PC build and I want to go the hackintosh route. I work in a small video production company editing on my MBP in Premiere, After Effects, C4D etc and am in desperate need to upgrade to a better system. I've got a bit of money saved up to build a decent PC, but we all use Macs (and HFS hard drives ) at work so I want to be able to work on these projects seamlessly and reliably, and I don't believe a Windows system will be able to integrate easily with our current work flow (described a bit here).
Someone suggested to build a hackintosh and I'm warming up to the idea. I probably should just buy an iMac, but I'm up for a challenge and my $$ go much further! I have been wanting to build a PC for some time and it would be awesome to get best of both worlds.
I've kinda based my build off this and am planning on following this guide supplemented by the vanilla guide in the sidebar. Good idea?
I've got a couple of probably noob questions:
1) Even though I would like macOS as my primary OS, is it advisable to install Windows first before attempting to hack the Tosh? I've never built a PC before so I thought it would be best to test it first with Windows to make sure I've put it together properly. I eventually would like to be able to multiboot anyways so I thought it would be a good first test.
2) The two 860 SSDs listed below are for my OS & apps (one for windows, one for macOS if all goes to plan). I plan on using the m.2 drive purely for scratch disks for editing in macOS... Will the m.2 drive be compatible with everything? Which file format would be best to format it in? Probably an apple format.
3) The 2TB hard drive was planning to be for all the other random stuff, probably in HFS or NTFS. Can I read/write reliably with Paragon?
4) Should I be trying to use APFS? What's the deal with Mojave?
Here's the part list I'm looking at:

If anyone sees anything amiss pls let me know, I'm excited to get started but need some reassurance to pull the trigger. Thanks for the help!
