Sonos has invited members of the press to a June 6th event where it is expected to unveil a new home theater speaker with Alexa, reports The Verge.The event's invite shows a coffee table with many different home theater remotes and the message, "You're better than this."
Notably, Sonos recently registered a new home theater speaker with the FCC, possibly a successor to the Playbar or Playbase. The filing reveals that the speaker has HDMI connectivity and microphones for voice control.
