My hackintosh has killed every USB-Stick I've used on it

I even ejected all of them before pulling them off, like you're supposed to do. Anybody got any suggestions?

Seasonic 620W ATX 12V power supply

Hackintosh High Sierra

EDIT: So far, it's been 4 USB sticks. It's getting rather expensive.
