I've installed Terraria and that works fine, even though my FPS is probably less than half of it than on windows. I try to get CSGO since I wanted to do some trading on Mac OS X and then game won't start.
I have the Nvidia web drivers installed and running Mac os high sierra on AMD Ryzen 1400 and a GTX 1060 6Gb.
When I start the game on steam or the desktop icon it opens, then a black screen for roughly ~5-10 seconds, and it closes back to the desktop and gets removed from the app bar at the bottom.
I know this isn't really hackintosh related but since it's on a hackintosh someone might know a fix for it. .
