I'm a photographer and looking to upgrade my current MBP15 2015 to possibly a hackintosh. Apple does not offer a machine that suits my current needs but I much prefer Mac OS to Win. I work on a Eizo displays so an iMac is out of the question and so is the old trashintosh being so outdated. Current Macbook Pro's don't have much more performance to offer than my current MBP so I am looking at the hackintosh options.
Most important thing to me is to have a stable build.
So I'm thinking along the lines of,
- i7-8700
- Ballistix Elite 32GB 2666
- Asus or Gigabyte mobo
- Nvidia or AMD? What is the most stable card at the moment with no sleep to wake issues etc?
Others like SSD's, case, cooling, power supply from trusted brand like samsung, noctua, corsair, fractal etc.
