[Q]: Is there a perfect ultraportable-type machine with great OSX compatibility?

OK,

I am curious if there is some PC-hardware (Thinkpad, Asus, HP, Surface, etc) that can run a recent-ish version of OSX with reasonable compatibility -- good keyboard, suspend, resume, trackpad, WiFI, Bluetooth, USB3, HDMI are all I really care about.

Before you flame me by saying I should just buy a Mac, I own a nice retina MacPro 13.3" Core i7 w/16GB RAM that I'm writing this post with. But, I am thinking about giving this machine to a family member, so I'd need to replace this laptop.

I want to get an ultraportable that has a MagSafe type connector and it's either the older generation MacPro or the Macbook Air -- the newer MacPro while quite nice has a dearth of ports and uses USB3.1 for power which does nothing for me. Also while not super heavy, a lighter laptop than the MacPro would be great since I don't do anything CPU heavy on it.

The Macbook Air unfortunately doesn't have a retina screen which I have come to really like, so I'm a bit torn about buying that especially having had my MacPro for so long. So I've been thinking maybe a Asus Zenbook or some other UltraPortable PC hardware working as a Hackintosh.
