For the life of me, I can't get turbo boost to work on my Z170 / 6700K

So the 6700k is a 4.0ghz CPU with 4.2Ghz turbo mode. I know it's ridiculous to fuss over 200 mhz but damnit, I want to know why this isn't working!

Things I've tried:

  1. Piker Alpha's SSDTgen w/plugintype ON
  2. Piker Alpha's SSDTgen w/plugintype OFF
  3. No SSDT.aml
  4. Speed Step on
  5. Speed Step off
  6. Motherboard 'System Power Management' on
  7. Motherboard 'System Power Management' off

So far running with SpeedStep ON, System Power Management ON, No SSDT, and PluginType ON results in the widest array of states and a low power state of 800mhz. I.E. It's the best I've gotten so far.

However none of these get me to a 4.2ghz turbo in Intel Power Gadget.

Anything else I could be missing?
