Hello,
I recently wiped my Unibeast/Multibeast installation after it seemingly got corrupted and went ahead and reinstalled Mac OS High Sierra the vanilla method with Clover. I have gotten everything working (sleep, graphics, audio, iMessage) with the exception of ethernet as I use a wifi card that works OOB.
Where it goes wrong is that it lags up and hangs every now and then. I've always had lag opening up launchpad for example or a little bit of lag when dragging a window across my monitors. After my latest install, however, it lags up when clicking a window thats not in focus and dragging it around or sometimes when mousing over the dock. Closing tabs and scrolling sometimes triggers it as well. It almost certainly heavily lags and hangs up when pulling up Spotify from the dock and mousing over tracks. Lag disappears when pulling a window into focus and pulling it around the screen. This never happens in Windows or my previous Mac installation.
These are my specs:
- i7 6700k OCed to 4.6GHz
- Nvidia GTX970
- 32GB of Avexir Core Series RAM.
- ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Ranger Motherboard
Mac OS is installed in its own SSD and the same lag existed in iMac17,1 SMBIOS from what I remember. I preferably run MacPro6,1 right now with FakeSMC, AppleALC, NvidiaGraphicsFixup, Lilu, and USBInjectAll in my kexts/other folder and have apfs, EmuVariableUefi-64, and OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 in my drivers64EUFI folder. My config.plist is attached here.
All help and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
