High Sierra Install Issues: Square Peg into a Round Hole?

Hey everyone!

So, as the title says: I'm having issues installing High Sierra on a build I have. However, I may be trying to force an incompatible hardware set. I've followed the instructions EXACTLY as they were given by Tonymacx86 in his October 2017 guide for High Sierra

I've done some digging and some people have suggested that the use of two GPUs is the problem, but modifying Clover is beyond my comfort zone. I've stumbled across a Reddit post where someone claimed a Success ful install on an X99 mobo (I guess it's supposed to translate to X99A boards as well).

If it's IMPOSSIBLE, I'll gladly concede, but if it's possible and just a pain in the ass, I'm willing to do what it takes. I'm tired of using Windows as my main workstation is a MacPro (trashcan) and need them to work together seamlessly in the Mac OS environment. Any help is sincerely appreciated!
