I've been reading through many reddit and tonymacx86 posts trying to figure this out, but I haven't been able to get past the Apple logo screen.
Here's my hardware: CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 2.70GHz Skylake 14nm Technology RAM: 16.0GB (HyperX DDR4) Motherboard: MSI H110M PRO-VD PLUS (MS-7A15) (U3E1) %1 Chipset Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (EVGA)
I've followed this guide with no luck, and I've followed the official TonyMac guide for High Sierra with no luck.
My PC already has windows installed, but I got a secondary SSD to install High Sierra to. I set up the boot drive using Unibeast (UEFI) with no problem, configured my BIOS and then I unplugged all hard drives except the one I'm trying to install to.
I get the Clover boot selection screen and pick "Install High Sierra", but then it gets to the Apple logo and the spinner and it gets stuck for hours. I let it run for 12 hours to see if it was a slow process but the progress bar didn't move at all.
I've googled this issue several times and tried the fixes that people suggested but I haven't had any luck. Is there an issue with my hardware compatibility or do I need to do something else?
Any help would be really appreciated
