This is quite strange, and I only have 1 USB to test it with, so unfortunately, until I can get my hands on another 8GB or larger USB, I can't confirm if its just my USB or if its somehow my MacBook Pro.
So I tried to make an installer using Unibeast at first (was not gonna use multibeast, but did it for the sake of simplicity), but I kept getting an error throughout saying "There was a error creating your unibeast drive: couldn't copy apfs.efi". So I figured that I'd just redownload macOS, redownload Unibeast, and format the USB and try again. Same error. I rebooted my Mac, tried it again, same error. So I erased it and tried the createinstallmedia method to create a plain installer. It worked fine, but I wasn't able to install Clover on it in the EFI partition on the USB. Even when I ticked the box for it to install in the ESP in the clover bootloader installer, it still didn't work. I've done this multiple times, and it just won't create and EFI partition to install Clover to on the USB.
TLDR; my usb won't create an efi partition to install Clover to, no matter what method I use. What do I do?
