Account limit reached & how to change serial nmber

I recently installed macOs El Capitan on my Thinkpad T420 following this guide. So far everything is running smoothly except I can't add iCloud accounts: when I try to add it in settings, a pop-up shows saying: account limit reached.

I found that I need to change my SMBIOS serial number. How do I do that?
