Tried updating to High Sierra, was working okay until... (sleep/wake?)

Hi guys. Was trying to get my Hackintosh back up and running after a while of not using it. Booted in to Sierra and downloaded High Sierra and updated. First issue was that I didn't have APFS in my EFI so I couldn't see my partition in Clover. Fixed that, updated my Nvidia drivers, etc. and everything was going well. Had some issues with my user account losing admin group. Got everything sorted out there (somehow.) Noticed I didn't have sound (I have a bit of a strange set-up so I had a lot of stuff installed as a solution, like Soundflower, Background Music. Uninstalled all of these and started with the Audio Mechanic guide). Updated my AppleALC, Lilu.kext... when I went to restart though, I hit sleep instead of restart.

Now, when I try booting into HS I get no display. It seems like I can't wake it from sleep. However, I can verify that I am booted into OSX, as the lights on my mouse are working and I was able to hear the standard error sound while typing/clicking. But I get nothing on the monitor. I tried using both HDMI and DP, tried using darkwake boot args in Clover, I even tried using the iGPU (but I think its disabled so nothing there). Can't seem to get anything to work here.

Now it's been a while since I've used my hack and I'm not sure exactly what to do. Since I was having so many problems I wanted to just do a fresh install and start over (and make sure I get my understanding back up) but I can't get into my HS to make a new boot USB.

If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. If you need any more information let me know, I tried to be as thorough including any information I thought would help
