Hi there !
First thing, I'm new in the hackintosh universe, but very old in the MacOS and generally, the Apple universe.
This month I built my first desktop computer with this configuration for now:
- Intel Core i7 8700k
- MSI Z370 PC Pro
- 16Go DDR4 2666Mhz (Ballistix Sport)
- Samsung 850 EVO 250Go (Windows 10 Installed on it)
- SanDisk X300s 256 Go (Dedicated to my Hackintosh installation)
I don't have a graphic card yet, for now I'm using the integrated graphics, the Intel UHD 630. I'm planning to buy a GTX 1080 in the next months. Following the installation guide from tonymacx86, I've been able to create the bootable USB key and begin the installation but I have few issues:
Once the first part on the installation done, the system reboot annnnd i'm geting either the error "The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged" when the system is able to boot or I'm stuck at the boot with the Apple logo and the bar loading for... hours.
I have disconnected all the other disks, verified that "EmuVariableUefi-64.efi" is not there (And it's not), verified that the SMBios is correctly configured (It is) annnd the last thing, verified that the system time is correct (It is).
The other error, the loading stuck on the apple logo is totally random, I don't know, sometime it's stuck, I reboot and then it works again. And other thing, sometime I'm getting a prohibited logo at the boot, totally random again, I just restart and sometime it works annnnd sometime the only solution is to clear the config of the Motherboard and config it again for Mac OS.
The funny part is that 3 days ago, i've been able to totally install and boot MacOS, but I don't know how I passed the error... I finally tried to reinstall again because ... reason. x)
If someone has been able to install High Sierra with the same MOBO, I need your EFI folder ! :p
Thanks for your eventual help, and sorry if I made few english mistakes :)
