Logitech announced a few updates to its Circle 2 security camera today. The camera is one of the few to support HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant.Notification Snapshots is a new feature that sends snapshot of the camera's view to your mobile device when a motion detection event is triggered.
An extension of our Smart Alerts feature, Notification Snapshots is available for Android and iOS versions of the Logi Circle app and provides you with a visual “snapshot” of an event or scene sent straight to your phone’s home screen when motion triggers your Circle 2 camera. Whether you’re away at the office or on vacation, this new push notification feature lets you see immediately if it’s just the mailman at the door or a possible intruder without opening the Logi Circle app to see what’s happening at home. Simply push “View” to enlarge the thumbnail version of your Snapshot and double check that everything is as it should be.
