Warning: terrible mobile formatting. So I'm working on putting El Capitan on a Early '08 MacBook core 2 Duo, with upgraded ram and hard drive to support it. I get it running using Clover, but it's keyboard and Trackpad isn't registering with El capitan. I'll admit that I'm brand new to using Clover, but going into the configuration, it's saying it's an iMac, with an iMac logic board model. I tried changing it to a newer, more compatible MacBook, but it's not working out. When I go back in for some good 'ol trial and error, I noticed that it reverted back to the iMac numbers.
I'm currently away from the MacBook right now until tomorrow at 3est, but do have a literate person who I can forward advice and questions to.
