Just upgraded my dual boot with a new TP-link T9E network card. I can't get full speeds on my macOS and wifi isn't even recognised on my Win10.

Morning guys, here is the build that I'm working with.

  • Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H
  • CPU Intel Core i7-4770K
  • Graphics Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 Windforce OC
  • RAM Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)
  • Network TP-Link N900 TL-WDN4800 this was the original card and has been replaced with the TP-link T9E

my home internet speeds should be around 50Mbps and it still is on all my other devices. but ever since i made the upgrade my speed is currently 5.5Mbps on my mackintosh macOS. what's even weirder is that when I boot up my win10 side, i don't even have an option of connecting to the wifi. I'm looking under Devices manager and I'm seeing some a couple 'unknown devices'.

my current priority is to get some form of internet working on my win10 end. I'll see what i can do to get the speeds running normally over the weekend when i have more time. I've already tried manually installing drivers sourced from the TP-link website on win10. still no dice.

anyone in a similar boat? i felt like i was promised that this card would have worked right out the box.
