So I built my budget hackintosh, got dual boot High Sierra & Windows 10 all working with a shitty wired keyboard. The real aim is to plug it into my TV, and have OSX & Windows available when needed on the big screen, so I need wireless keyboard & mouse.
I bought a Kinivo BTD 400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter, works fine in OSX, bluetooth mouse works fine in OSX and Windows, Apple Wireless Keyboard works fine in OSX. Great, let's try it in Windows.
Does it fuck. Googling reveals scores of other posts frustrated that Apple Wireless Keyboard won't work with Windows 10. Damn. I spent 3 days trying to get it to work. It worked ONCE, but didn't survive a reboot. I've extracted the BootCamp Keyboard drivers & installed them. Didn't help. I'm really pissed off with this, this is one thing I did not expect to fail. I love my Apple Wireless Keyboard, I've used it for about 4 years, and it's the best keyboard I've ever owned, matches the feel of my MBA perfectly. I really don't want to be buying a separate wireless keyboard just for running Windows.
Any help guys?
