Background: I'm an artist in training so I love to look at pictures I have collected to inspire me. I came from OS X back to Windows 6 months ago and all I miss is that lovely screen saver feature it has built in.
Now I do plan to install OSX on a dedicated SSD sometime like a year from now if I happen to land a job where I'm require to use Photoshop on OSX or just learn PS on both platforms for the sake of it but right now I don't need it.
What I'm asking is what way should I go to get what I want or close to? My vision is to use windows (sometimes with windows only paint programs) while having one screen of three used for my slideshow of art pics I have collected.
Do I go virtual machine? USB drive? Duel boot my SSD? Dedicated HDD (for cost) or go all out on an SSD OSX drive?
Again, just want that screen saver feature from how creative it displays pictures and how smooth it is.
