72 hours later (8 of which were spent sleeping) I have successfully setup a laptop Hackintosh that I am pleased with and am able to use as a daily computer without feeling like I'm at a disadvantage of any sort.
Specs:
Intel i7 7500U
12GB DDR4 RAM
Geforce 940MX (Disabled in macOS for better battery life)
2 USB 3.0 Ports (One with quick charge support) and one USB 3.1 port and one USB 2.0 port
Edimax 7811UN for WiFI Amazon
WiFi
For WiFi, I use the Edimax 7811UN USB WiFI adapter and although the reviews on Amazon may sound horrible I can assure you that this fairly cheap WiFI adapter is amazing. Upon boot up, it connects to my 2.4 GHz WiFI Network and remains connected for my entire session. The only complaint I can really provide if I had to provide one would be that it definitely has some problems adjusting when the range is changed. If my laptop stays at my desk it's fine, but if I move closer to the router sometimes speeds drop and don't go back up for 30-45 seconds, but even with the speed drop I hardly ever notice it and the computer remains perfectly usable. WiFi Test
Using NullEthernet.kext allows me to be able to use Apple Services with this so I would say this is a fully working solution!
Warning: If you are using NullEthernet make sure that Ethernet is set to en0!!!
Bluetooth
My laptops internal Bluetooth seems to be working perfectly fine. No issues what-so-ever with it. The video demo connects to a Bluetooth speaker on my desk and it plays audio through it perfectly fine with my AppleALC/HDA setup. Bluetooth Test
Power Management
I didn't use a custom SSDT for power management because oddly enough everything involving CPU speed stepping, Sleep/Wake, battery performance was perfect upon boot up to the macOS 10.12.6 desktop. I am assuming this is because of Kaby Lake support in 10.12.6, but please correct me if I am wrong. Power Management Test
Audio
This is basically the only issue I have with this Hackintosh and that's audio. Unfortunately, I am not able to have my laptops internal mic work with headphones and sleep/wake functionality working at the same time so I had to compromise and use Audio Layout ID 27 for good headphone quality, internal speakers, and Sleep/Wake working. If I ever need to use my laptop's microphone and headphones I would have to switch to layout 3 in my config.plist, install CodecCommander in /S /L /E because it doesn't work in the other folder on my EFI partition and then repair permissions, then reboot. Then to get sleep working I would have to remove CodecCommander, repair permissions, change config.plist and reboot again. Massive PITA, but I wasn't able to find a way to fix this. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm tapping the microphone on this laptop and breathing really loud into it and it's not picking up anything. Audio Test(Showcasing broken mic control)
Conclusion
I've attached my EFI with CodecCommander if anyone has this exact same laptop and wants to have a quick fully working config. If anybody would like to help me get the internal mic working properly with a patched AppleHDA let me know. As of posting this, my entire macOS install is 100% Vanilla and I would like to keep it that way! So to recap here's what works: iMessage FaceTime iCloud App Store Audio (For the most part) Sleep/Wake
I would say that's a pretty dope Hackintosh ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
