Ready to start fresh again. Upgrading to High Sierra from Mavericks. Anything I should be aware of?

My hackintosh has been rock solid for the past four years, but I haven't touched the OS since I first installed Mavericks, so it's quite outdated now... Will my old build be compatible with High Sierra?

I also used the Chameleon method to install last time, but would like to go more vanilla now.

ASUS Sabertooth x79, i7 4930k, GTX 780 Windforce
