Hello,
I'm looking for suggestions for a USB wifi dongle, preferably dual-band /n or /ac but anything above 300Mbps. It has to be verified working with High Sierra. The Apple side of my rig currently boots 10.12 but I'm hoping to get it up to High Sierra as soon as the wifi problem is solved (due to the new location upstairs, the ancient ASUS N13 stick works only <5% of the time due to reception).
Has to be USB. I have no space for PCIe; my ITX comp is wrapped up in an NCase M1. I cannot do regular ethernet nor Powerline ethernet, the latter because my ISP is shitty and known not to play nice with it. M.2 is also unacceptable because my mobo is an H97N-WIFI that came with a mPCIe Intel 7260AC, and I'm not willing to hunt down Broadcom cards on eBay that may or may not work with High Sierra.
I guess it would be a bonus to have a USB extender and antennas that boost its reception. So far all I have found to work with high probability with High Sierra are the TP-Link WN823N and the Netgear N300, neither of which are widely available at a reasonable price where I live.
