After looking on the Apple webshop for the most recent Mac Mini and seeing memory and SSD is non replaceable I decided to go the Hackintosh way. Although not easy, I've managed to create a stable system but can't get the dual monitors setup to work. 1 working monitor is connected to HDMI port, the 2nd blanking monitor is connected to the Thunderbolt/USB-C port with a Displayport to HDMI dongle.
The dual monitors are working when booting (or in BIOS) in mirror mode but when it comes to logging in the 2nd monitor blanks.
Some info: I'm using High Sierra 10.13.2, the graphics chipset is an Intel Iris Plus 640. I have searched with google for a solution but most tutorials are about AMD / NVidia, or earlier versions of Intel boards. Any help or pointers are appreciated.
Happy Holidays, Hackintoshers.
