How to enable HDMI Audio with GTX 1050

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get audio to come out of the speakers built into my ASUS MX279H monitor. I have a Gigabyte GTX 1050 graphics card, which is directly plugged into my monitor, however, no audio comes out. I've tried many solutions, and have somewhat fixed the problem, as I can get audio to work when plugging in external speakers into my PC, but obviously I prefer the sound to come out of my monitor.
