High Sierra installer not showing on Clover when booting from USB drive

I use Thinkpad T520, already running Sierra. I want to clean install High Sierra while swapping to a new HDD.

I got the 19MB installer, but I use this guide here: http://osxdaily.com/2017/09/27/download-complete-macos-high-sierra-installer/ and got the full 5GB installer.

However, I can't find the "Install High Sierra" partition on clover after booting on the installer USB. There's only EFI console etc. I've tried 3 different methods for making bootable drives:

  • Unibeast. I always use this method and always served me well. However, this time it isn't working.

  • Command line method. I've tried this command: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/(USB) --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app --no interaction. Worked fine, but still can't find the installer partition.

  • Using create the USB installer menu from the "Install macOS High Sierra.app". Still no luck.

I've double checked the content of the USB drive, and the installer exists. The laptop is currently running Sierra perfectly too. Already replaced the EFI files on the USB too. Any idea where did I possibly do wrong?
