I’ve been trying to update to High Sierra. Started with a working Sierra install and directly updating, but it was always crashing when trying to boot the installer.
I decided that I’d try doing a clean install (bad decision), and that hasn’t worked either and now I have nothing. When I try booting from the install I get the same crash as when I was trying to boot the installer before. Here’s a pic: https://imgur.com/a/jLQHj
Here’s the weird part: If I boot from the USB it works fine and I can get into the OS, but booting from the hard drive crashes.
The install was done with Unibeast and I used the UEFI quick start in Multibeast after the install was complete.
System specs: i7 4770k Gigabyte z87x-ud3h Samsung 840 Pro SSD Using integrated graphics for now but will be using NVIDIA GTX 780 once things are working.
I’ve been messing with it for the past week and can’t seems to figure it out.
Any ideas?
