Help needed: Clover not detecting High Sierra Fusion Drive

I messed up my previous Fusion Drive Sierra installation, and thought to myself "Well f*** it, maybe it is my time to upgrade to High Sierra." I already have both my MacBooks on High Sierra at this point, one of which also had a Fusion Drive. When I talked about Fusion Drives here, it is regarding the Fusion Drive created using command line on machines that did not ship with one from Apple - like that 2011 MacBook Pro I was talking about - SSD on hard disk bay and HDD on the optical bay with a tray.

Pulled the latest High Sierra installer and TonyMac's stuff, I tried to follow the same steps as my previous Sierra installation. Fresh install just in case here.

Well the first stage installer went on normally, but once it reboots Clover is not seeing the macOS disks as bootable. I have tried both APFS and JHFS+ installations, but neither works. Help? (Or should I install Sierra first, and upgrade in-place to High Sierra without APFS conversion?)

My hardware:

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
  • Processor: Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 (No iGPU)
  • Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 1060
  • HDD: WD Green 6TB
  • SSD: Intel SSD 520 Series 480GB

p.s. The SSD and HDD are both pulled from my other systems, hence the capacities. The machine the 480GB SSD is from, one of my MacBooks, is now on a 1TB SSD; the machine the 6TB HDD is pulled from has long been upgraded to an RAID array.
