Good hackintosh build i5 8400

Hey there,

I just have a question about a possible build I’m thinking about assembling.

CPU: i5 8400 8th gen coffee lake

Motherboard: Gigabyte's Z370 HD3P

GPU: gtx 1050 ti

Memory: Corsair vengeance 8gb DDR4 2400

Power supply: Corsair cx500 500w 80plus bronze

Summary of below: is this incomplete build okay for a hackintosh (Preferred)? Also asking for readers opinion if I should build a hackintosh or just buy a external gpu and dock for MacBook Pro (not preferred]

retaining to hackintosh build It’s not a complete build yet still pricing out and convincing myself not to go overboard. But is the build so far a good one? Would I have have any problems with stability with bootloops etc? I’ve been reading that users have been haveing problems installing MacOS on 8th gen CPUs. Of which I understand due to Apple not having 8th gen CPU macs on the market. But I don’t mind installing 10.12 until High Sierra is stable, or is all of those problems gone now.

looking for readers opinions Another question I have but not entirely related to hackintoshing, but I’m currently using a touch bar 15in MacBook Pro. I constantly disconnect and connect it into my monitor and my half ass dock, and it’s getting really old having to unplug and plug stuff back in. That’s why I want to build my self a hackintosh so I can stop doing that. I’ve also thought just getting a thunderbolt 3 external gpu with a dock (Venus gpu dock) and just useing that, but for the price of the dock, 2m tb3 cable, and gpu it would almost be the same cost on just building a hackintosh. What would you do?

sorry for any typos, at work shouldn’t be on reddit had to rush
