Years ago (I think 3-3.5 years or so) I tried to install OS X on my computer and started with the Snow Leopard disc. I had lots of problems trying to upgrade it to the point where I could download the next version... eventually I gave up, but I still have the disc. I've done some hardware upgrades since that time too which might improve compatibility if it was a hardware issue. What is needed now to go from a Snow Leopard install from disc, to a relatively modern (or even the latest) version of Mac OS? NOTE: I don't have access to a real Mac currently.
