I'm new to Hackintosh and many terms and phrases are new to me, it's taking time to understand what I need to do.
I have a simple PC at home which my mother was using and is now neglected. I thought about turning it into a Hackintosh. The specs are as follows:
- ASRock H61M-VG3 http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/h61m-vg3/
- Intel Celeron G1620 https://ark.intel.com/products/71073/Intel-Celeron-Processor-G1620-2M-Cache-2_70-GHz
It also has 4Gb ram and uses the onboard graphics. It's a little old and the hardware isn't the best. I suppose I can upgrade the CPU to an i3 or i5 (Ivy Bridge) if needed.
I watched a youtube video saying that I need a Mac to make the USB boot disk, I have however found a seller on eBay who is selling such a USB disk. I can buy that and then use it to install Mac OS on this PC, right? I'm also not sure which guide to best get my installation running.
If someone can help me get on track it would be greatly appreciated.
