My first Hackintosh must have been too easy because this one is a nightmare, heh.
I'm building a variation on the Hackintosh Mini that SnazzyLabs did using the StreamCom EVO case.
Components are as follows:
i3-4130T Asus H97I-Plus 2x4GB GSkill Sniper DDR3 256GB Plextor M6e SSD UJ265 slot-load Blu Ray drive BIOS 2704, loaded to optimized defaults, secure boot set to "other OS"
Using my Sierra flash drive, I get the following error with the -v tag:
Tue Nov 28 03:18:27 2017 Mac-mini.local com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.ntp.sntp.157) <Warning>: Service exited with abnormal code: 1 busy timeout[0], (240s), kextd wait(0): 'AppleACPICPU'
I tried using -x, but the install just reboots and restarts.
Things I've also tried:
- I disabled the onboard NIC
This got things a little further, though I now got a "hid: legacy shim 2" error which eventually turned into the prohibited symbol.
There were some XHCI errors above that, so I disabled USB3 entirely in the BIOS.
This got me past the hid error, but I ended back at . . . you guessed it . . . service exited with abnormal code: 1.
Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated! :)
