NUC Advice

I'm jumping into putting together a nice portable hackintosh. I'm going to use it primarily for web development so I don't need anything powerful and I thought an Intel NUC would do the job, NUC7i7 specifically.

It looks perfect but in the latest versions the WiFi module are soldered in and not MacOS compatible.

What would you suggest? Should I live with this and get an ugly external Bluetooth and WiFi module? Or should I get a previous generation NUC with a WiFi card I can swap out? Is so what specific NUC and WiFi card should I get?
