Lowering brightness in macOS lowers it in pre-boot stages, help?

I've noticed that when I lower my brightness in macOS it lowers it for the dell logo on boot, bios, and clover interface. How can I stop this from happening? It's kind of annoying having to constantly go into bios and change my brightness back.
