Nothing much has changed since then in terms of Hardware. However some "significant" changes have been made to the known-to-be-problematic iGPU / IntelHD5500 which i would like to mention.
First things first. Basic installation is pretty straight forward.
Use UniBeast to create your USB-Installer. Make sure that Inject-Intel is disabled during the installation. Sadly Laptop Keyboard and Trackpad did not work during installation, so get your USB Keyboard/Mouse ready for the begining.
For the installation just follow the usual procedure. Nothing much changed from my Sierra "Guide"
Post-Installation however is a bit different. You NEED the following Kexts which can be found on TonyMac
Latest FakeSMC
Latest Voodoo Sound Kext
RehabMans Ps2Trackpad / keyboard kext
Latest Realtek8111 Kext for Ethernet
Install Sound,Trackpad and Ethernet kext via KextUtil, the FakeSMC kext has to be placed into your EFI Partition > kexts > 10.13
This is important since the FakeSMC kext that the current build of UniBeast / Multibeast is using is buggy, so you can get some CPUIdle-Errors / crashed.
Now for the most important part / change > iGPU.
For high sierra you have to use different values in Clover to make everything work.
You have now to use under Graphics: ig-plattform-id 0x16260006
and under KextToPatch AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer Find: 0000200200005001 Replace: 0000300100009000
These are pretty much the only changes that is different from my Sierra roundup. I hope this will help you as a slight guide through your installation! Good Luck!
