I recently got an old iMac from mid 2007 and Ive been thinking about building my own hackintosh. Is it possible to just move the hard drive over to my current custom build?

I want to just take out the hard drive from the iMac 7, update to el capitan, and migrate the OS to a new ssd and I want to know if the current components in my custom build are compatible and if I can just boot from the mac hard drive. My custom build is Intel i5 7600k-cpu Asus B250F strix- mother board 8 gb ballistic- memory EVGA 1050ti- gpu

Thats also my first build and I still don’t know much about computers I just don’t want to break anything.

The current OS on the iMac7 is 10.4.11
