High Sierra will not boot natively after installation

Hey everyone, I hope you can help because I feel like I have tried everything.

I have an asrock z77 extreme6 and an Intel 3570k. I have installed High Sierra with minimal difficulties. However when I try to boot directly to OS X it gives me the "Roboot and Select proper Boot Device...". If I pull up the boot selection screen, I have two entries labeled Mac os x. When I select either of those I get a brief black screen then get kicked back to the boot selection screen. If I select my HD, it gives me the "Reboot and Select" error. To the best of my knowledge I have installed everything correctly and used Multibeast correctly. I have quadruple checked all of my bios settings and double checked that the efi partition exist and had the appropriate files. Boot flags are set correctly on the efi partition. I am at a loss and my hours of googling for an answer have proven unfruitful. I feel like I have done my homework but what am I missing?

Thank you for the help.
