Asking because my friend gave me a couple of his Arduino UNO boards recently. I think they are clones. Anyways, I connected them to a Windows computer and the IDE immediately recognised the serial port. My macOS hack, on the other hand, is being a real bitch about it. I have tried everything I could think. Most of the online tutorials advise installing the CH34x drivers, but that didn't work for me either. Just wanted to know if someone else had any success...
FYI, I only have dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port
and dev/tty.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port
showing up. The device is recognised by the system, because it shows up in System Profiler in the USB section as a "Communication Device"
