Thinkpad Trackpoint on T430s - any adjustments I can make?

The wonderful dmitriypavlov put together a nice pre-build for the T430s and High Sierra ( https://github.com/dmitriypavlov/T430s-macOS ).

My only gripe is that the track point is really 'blocky' and not smooth - the Voodoo PS2 kext is VoodooPS2Controller 1.8.28.

Does anyone know if there are any adjustments I can make to improve the smoothness/speed?

Overall, I would like to have the Trackpad setting in macOS settings with gestures etc but at the moment I don't.
