Sierra Installer uses integrated graphics instead of dedicated graphics card

I'm installing sierra 10.12.6

My components are:

CPU: Pentium G4560

Motherboard: Asus prime b250m-k

Video card: Asus DirectCUII HD 7950

I followed this installation guide, adding the fixes for the pentium part and the asus motherboard part. However, after some text (I enabled verbose mode), the screen goes black if the dvi cable is plugged into my amd video card. If i start it up with the dvi cable in my motherboard/integrated graphics, it doesn't go to the black screen and instead loads up the installer (apple logo -> install sierra etc).

My config.plist is here and the kexts I have are as follows:

I have tried removing the intel hd graphics kexts but that still doesn't make it use the dedicated graphics and instead causes the installer not to load on the integrated graphics.

I also tried enabling Inject ATI in clover but that didn't work either.
