Hello! Ive been trying recently to get macOS running on my sisters computer. A few weeks ago I tried installing macOS Sierra but ran into the same problem as below. I have just installed El Capitan onto the computer and it seems to work fine, apart from the graphics. Without drivers, the background to the login page is static (like on a tv), the dock is not translucent and Launchpad has strange scanning animations. So, I went and installed the Nvidia Web Drivers and CUDA Drivers. After restarting, Clover loads fine, I select the drive and at about 60% loaded, the computer restarts. I have tried verbose mode and can’t see anything out of the ordinary - it even says the Web Drivers have loaded successfully. The only way I can get it to boot is by using ‘nv_disable=1’. The GPU is a GTX970 and I do believe the computer also has integrated graphics enabled. CPU is an Intel i5. I would try booting with the Intel Graphics, but I run into problems there too. I have run into the same problem on my other computer with a GTX780. I can’t find anything online that can help me, so I thought I’d ask here.
Any help is much appreciated.
