I have a voodoo trackpad kext from here http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/9070-a-new-voodoops2controller-for-alps-touchpads-on-sierrael-capitan-1011410115/ because the original on in rehabmans guide was not supported on my computer. (Dell Inspiron 7359). However this kext was made in August of 2016 so im guessing there may be a new kext somewhere that would be compatible. The keyboard works but the trackpad only supports the 2 basic functions, left and right click. No drag and drop, 2 finger scrolling, etc. I can use the touchscreen on my computer but touchscreen is only so accurate. I dont know if I want to try rehabmans new voodoo kexts as I dont know if it would work. Last time I tried kext, it basically rendered Sierra unable to boot. Had to boot with debugs and then make a fresh install. ..
