Hi everyone. So a few days ago I installed High Sierra with minimal initial issues. It was booting fine. After restarting my computer several times to tweak bios settings in an attempt to fix an artifiacting issue, High Sierra will no longer boot. I can get into clover which has many missing icons, even though I can technically launch those partitions (see linked photos). When I launch High Sierra, it will not launch without dart=0 and will not launch in safe mode. I'll have photos linked in the post that shows the -v log for both the main OS in safe mode and regular, and the Recovery partition in safe mode and regular. When I can actually start the booting process, I get a circle with a slash through it about halfway through for the main OS. I did a -v flag there as well which you can see at the link with all my photos.
With that in mind, I have decided to downgrade to Sierra since that worked for me. I have made a bootable Sierra install drive which boots fine, but I encounter issues running the terminal command to remove the APFS container. I have taken a photo of my drive list upon running "diskutil list". I'm not sure which one to delete, and when I try any of them terminal replies saying the selected drive isn't a container reference for APFS.
I'm assuming there's something easy I'm missing here. Here's my computer info:
MoBo: ga-q77m-d2h
CPU: Intel i5 3570
GPU: Nvidia GTX 660
