Can't boot into fresh install of High Sierra without safe mode. Need help identifying the issue.

Hey guys, I finally installed High Sierra, but I'm having trouble booting into it without the -x flag.

These are my specs:

• CPU: i7 4770
• MoBo: Gigabyte H87M-HD3
• GPU: R9 280x

I had a Sierra installation working fine before, so I think the hardware isn't the issue.

Please help.
