More than two years ago I installed Yosemite (my first hackintosh build) ... then I upgraded to El Capitan and am still on it due to lack of proper Karabiner replacement. So I'm now thinking on upgrading to High Sierra but I'm not sure if all (24) my Karabiner settings could be replicated in Elements version.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, so sorry if I'm misposting.
So here is the list of settings I'm using. So if anyone knows if it's possible, please enlighten me how as I can't find the right way to configure Elements in same manner.
- Backspace in Finder moves up (this is custom one I made in private.xml)
- Print Screen to Command-Control-Shift-4, then Space (also custom one, but this one I can live without)
- Change Arrow(Up/Down/Left/Right) Key [Command+Arrow to Option_L+Arrow]
- Change Control_R Key (Right Control) [Control_R to Command_R]
- Change Tab Key > Items for backward compatibility [Option+Tab to Command+Tab]
- For Applications -- Enable at Only Finder > Windows Explorer Navigation for Finder --- Use Command+R as Rename [Change Command+R to Return] --- Use Forward Delete as Delete Files [Change Forward Delete to Command_L+Delete] --- Use Return as Open --- Use Return as Open [+ Use Fn+Return as Rename][Change Return to Command+O][Change Fn+Return to Return] -- Enable at only Firefox/Thunderbird --- Fix Home/End [Home/End move to beg/end of line, Ctl/Cmd+Home/End move to beg/end of page]
- For PC Users -- Use PC Style Home/End #2 -- Use PC Stlye Control+UP/Down/Left/Right -- Use PC Style Redo -- Use PC Style Select All -- Use PC Style Save -- Use PC Style New -- Use PC Style New Tab #2 (Browser only) -- Use PC Style Find -- Use PC Style Open -- Use PC Style Close -- Simulate Windows Copy Paste keys -- Command+Y sends Command+Shift+Z (Windows-style Redo command modifier ver.)
Thanks in forward.
