Hi all!
I am new to the hackintosh community and I wanted to convert one of my old builds to run macOS full time. Lately, I have been using my 2016 macbook pro docked in 24/7 in a desktop type setup. So I thought it would be better if I gave that to my sibling who needs a new laptop and make due with this setup by installing macOS.
The specs of the computer are a 6700K, Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5, Corsair DDR4 3000 (2 x 8 GB Kit), AMD Radeon WX4100, and lastly a Samsung 950 Pro 512 GB.
How would I go about installing macOS on this? Would all of my hardware be compatible? My biggest concern is the GPU and I'd like to keep it if possible, because it's one of the fastest single slot LP cards that I can fit in this low-profile ITX case that I am currently using.
Additionally, would filevault work on this setup and the on-board wifi-bluetooth card work?
